About Me

Originally from Brandon, SD, I am now an Administrative Assistant at Homeward Animal Shelter in Fargo. I am also pursuing a degree in Urban and Regional Studies at Minnesota State University, Mankato online, and am set to graduate in the fall. During my college career, I have garnered experience at the nonprofit, political, municipal, and institutional levels. As a career, I hope to pursue nonprofit or human services administration. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, thrifting, being outside, and hanging out with loved ones (including my dog Lincoln).

My upbringing and experiences have fostered in me a sense of civic duty and a community-oriented mindset. I have learned the value of being a good neighbor and empowering underserved communities. As the late, great Paul Wellstone once said, “We all do better when we all do better!” I hope to carry these values into city hall and continue making Moorhead an amazing place to live, work, and play.
